On the 20th anniversary of the Rwandan genocide, Carl Howorth, currently Supply Chief in UNICEF South Sudan, tells the story of the quality problem UNICEF had with tents for refugees, which the manufacturer was unwilling to recognise. 

Amid the horror of the genocide aftermath, Carl tells how the problem was addressed, trying to 'focus on the human side of things' and using 'a little humour'. The result is a remarkable and evocative piece of writing....
